Over 40 years of research with over 3000 couples has distinguished Dr. John Gottman as the premier voice in relational health world wide. The internationally acclaimed book, "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work", is the cumulative summary of these decades of scientifically validated insights and proven results.
Gottman 7 Principles Workshops aid couples in deepening their friendship, managing conflict successfully, honouring each other's dreams, and creating shared meaning.
The 7 Principles Workshop is appropriate for couples contemplating engagement, pre-marital couples and those married for decades.
If a couple's relationship is strong, this workshop will provide them with tools to make their relationship even better.
If a couple has a distressed relationship, this workshop can provide a roadmap for repair.
Ideal for individuals whose partners who are not interested in marriage counselling, but would attend a relationship enhancement class.
Many clinicians, pastors, priests, rabbis and their spouses, attend these workshops as a means of experiencing the Gottman method first hand and find it to be personally enriching, as well as a source of great professional development.
During the workshop, couples will work together privately on dynamic exercises to enhance their relationship. Each couple will come away with a binder-full of rich resources and significant relationally altering experiences.
This is not therapy, or group counselling.
Who the 7 Principles Workshop is Not Appropriate For:
